Manfred was raised in Germany and came to Canada courtesy of the German army. He ended up staying in Canada when his time in the army ended, and learned to dive in Saskatchewan in 1995. He moved to British Columbia in 2006 has been diving all over the coast of British Columbia since. He is an electronic technician by trade, and works as a diving instructor in his spare time. 

 

He is a Trimix Blender Instructor and equipment service technician, and utilizes these extensive skills with EDSBC. 

 

Manfred attends every expedition with his rebreather in tow, a great attitude, and passion for exploring both above and below water.
