Ken started diving and freediving in 1999 in Vancouver, BC. Since then, he’s been diving in the Cayman Islands, Roatan, Mexico, the Mediterranean Sea, and Norway to freedive with orcas. His highest level of certification is Normoxic Trimix through IANTD, and has pretty much every certification below that. Though he's never received any official certification for freediving, he was an alternate on Team Canada in 2000 (Nice, France) and 2001 (Ibiza, Spain).

 

He’s currently based in Courtenay, BC and works in IT. His favourite thing about diving is the opportunity to see the 70% of the planet that not many people see. He loves the ocean both above and below, especially in British Columbia. He's excited to explore, document, and research new areas through EDSBC.
