Calista began diving in 1989 in British Columbia, became an instructor in 1992, and has been diving around the world since. She’s worked in the diving industry as a diving instructor, boat captain, occupational diver for annual herring surveys by the Department of Fisheries and Oceans, safety diver in the film industry, normoxic trimix instructor, and freediving instructor.
