Calista Parkin
Founding Member
Calista began diving in 1989 in British Columbia, became an instructor in 1992, and has been diving around the world since. She’s worked in the diving industry as a diving instructor, boat captain, occupational diver for annual herring surveys by the Department of Fisheries and Oceans, safety diver in the film industry, normoxic trimix instructor, and freediving instructor. She's currently based out of Courtenay, BC.
She was a member of the Canadian National Freediving Team and won the 2000 World Cup of Freediving in Nice, France, and attended the 2001 Freediving World Championships in Ibiza, Spain.
The freedom, peace, and adventure of the unknown keep Calista coming back for more, and we’re honoured to have her part of the team.
